“Education should equip students to take a full and active part in shaping their future society” – observed the eminent educationist John Dewey, and which also the guides our principles while formulating the curriculum. Hence, the school encourages learning through employment of a variety of teaching aids and techniques involving learners actively in the learning process. Thus, Experiential Learning, Learning by Doing and Multiple Intelligence Orientation are major components of the school curriculum in addition to the CBSE based syllabus and guidelines.
Experiential Learning focuses on the learning process for the individual. In this, a student makes discoveries and experiments with knowledge himself instead of hearing or reading about others’ experiences. Though gaining of knowledge is an inherent process that occurs naturally, a genuine learning experience requires certain elements, and they are amply provided by our school.
We believe in Practical Learning. Hence, the focus of the school remains on project work, action learning, simulation and community based learning. The school is like a laboratory where children are encouraged to learn through experimentation, experience, clarify the key points and apply the lessons to get practical results.
